Music is usually, the expression of oneself through the use of instruments and vocals. Vocals that repeat throughout the song are called the chorus and usually suggests the main idea of the song. Vocals that are said once and are in between choruses are called lyrics and they usually connect the chorus to other aspects of life or develop the main idea stated in the chorus. However, there are other ways to organize music such as instrumentals which contain no vocals in them at all. There is also a type of music with no instruments either which is called acapella
Music is used in lots of different ways. It can be used to express one's culture and is used for cultural practices. It can be used for therapy for someone to relax and open up to their emotions. However, music's primary purpose is for entertainment, and it does so in many ways. Some music is to tell a story or message of life. You find songs like that on websites like Spotify or Apple music. Music is also used for video games and movies to enhance the emotion in a important scene or for advertisements to make their product sound catchy.
