Rules

This website does not have many rules with submissions as to give users more freedom with said submissions. However with the browser I use I can only use some certain images. Also we don't want one person to dominate the website with piles and piles of only their pictures. That is why the following rules are...

  1. The only accepted forms of images are jpegs, webp, and pngs. My browser can only load those forms of images sorry!
  2. There is a limit of 3 images to be submitted per ip address per day. This website is to have everyone share there favorite album covers not everyone seeing one person's favorites.
  3. Only one vote per person. this is pretty self explanatory everyone should have the same chance of winning on this website therefore have the same voting power.
  4. Nudity and radical images can be common for album covers esspecially with more recent genres. However they ARE NOT allowed. I feel that if you give people an inch on this rule they will take a mile with it so sadly it is best to ban it outright.
  5. No repeated images from the winner's display. This is to prevent the page to be one to three pictures diverese.



Categories

In order to rank album covers above one another there are three different catagories which will be voted on a score of 1-100. 1 being that it doesn't fufill the category at all or that it does so extremely poorly, and 100 being known as one of the best at that said category or maybe one that isn't known but excells at the specific category extremely well.

  1. Meaning. Every album cover needs to have a meaning of some sorts. The meaning does not need to be "deep" or philosophical. All it has to do is to send a message, as simple as it may be. It can do this by drawing a scene of an event or just a symbol that symbolized a concept of any kind
  2. Looks. Of course every album cover needs to look appeasing or captivating in some shape or way. The album cover does not need to look "good" exactly, it just has to look either iconic or eye-catching. This can be done by the cover looking bizare or by it being simple but memorable
  3. Relation. In order for a album cover to be truly astonishing it must relate to what is sung in the album.
